Halls are very dark. My room was OK but others had rooms that smelled of smoke. Service was uneven.

The hotel was very centrally placed and all places of interest could easily be walked to. The metro, bus stops ,taxies and sight seeing tours all passed directly outside the hotel and the train station was only about half a mile away.Thoroughly recommend a trip to the Gulbenkian museum which can be walked to from this hotel, it has a very good buffet lunch and a wonderful garden to relax in. Also a short journey out on the train to Queles takes you to the Royal Palace which really should not be missed. Entry costs were reasonable and if you're over 65 were all half price.
The hotel was very reasonable value for money but it would have been good to have more visitor information available not just to be referred to the information office in the centre The hotel had an extremely good evening buffet which was competitively priced but not advertised.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and booked a business room, but the hotel upgraded us to a suite room with a good view of the Square, so we had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast is generous with warm food and lots of fruits etc to choose from.
Although the windows are double glazed, you can still hear the noise of the traffic if you are in one of the rooms facing the main road.

It was just a decent option for a short visit in Lisbon with all in all great value for money. The walk-in shower had powerful water pressure and instant hot water, a pleasant surprise. Remember to bring a power strip if you need to charge multiple devices.

The location is brilliant.Direct airport buses just in front of hotel, metro a stones throw away and tour buses right in front.Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.Dinner buffet vegetarian options were quite limited.Overall excellent choice.Would certainly stay again.
Do not use the phones to make local calls very exorbitant rates. Some of the hotel staff could be more pleasant. We booked a Fado night out and had to pay cash...they didnt accept cards.
